Our focus is always the Art. Period.
Prior to the birth of UMI our Development Team were inexplicably linked to the art industry. Going back even further, one of our Devs took his degree in art and design, before transitioning to blockchain tech a handful of years ago.
When we first drafted ideas, attempting to discover a niche within the blockchain space we knew that to meet our personal aspirations, we would have to transfer our prior love for the Art, into the company we were hoping to form. With some star alignment and good fortune, the NFT industry began to emerge. Through our love for Soramitsu we noticed a lack of NFT’s within that space to honour Makoto and his Devs team, for all their contributions to blockchain technology. However we felt creating Japanese themed, customised, unique NFT’s in their honour— however beautiful; was simply not enough.
UMI loves Physical and Digital.
We conducted extensive market research before coming up with the idea to merge these two spaces together. Another first in blockchain tech.
We will credit our early investors in the 33 x Sora Genesis NFT’s Editions by distributing a physically printed (high quality gloss paper), personally signed (by Purple Asahi or Late2wenty) version of the artwork, delivered to each art collector, free of charge to anywhere in the world! We will commence distribution of these in the weeks after the Snapshot is taken, to allow said persons to submit the information required for delivery.
So how will we implement this? We understand the desire to keep personal details, personal. Therefore by using an encrypted Form to complete, we hope to reassure said investors that all addresses will be kept private. Furthermore just two of the UMI team will ever see this information. The same two who will be responsible for cross-checking, processing and distribution of said Artwork to the corresponding curator.
